@leonardurban@tooting.ch @matrix@mastodon.matrix.org Hi, I'm quite a big fan of Matrix, I run my own server (https://federated.nexus) and I'm making my own client, too. I would say Matrix is mainly a good experience, except for bugs, some of the most annoying of which will be fixed in the next room version. I also don't like the state of clients on mobile, I would say theres not a particularly good one, but Element X does the job. Bridging works really well, you can use mautrix-whatsapp for that.

@leonardurban@tooting.ch If the content is encrypted you won't know, thats the point of E2EE. However, you can list out what rooms your users have joined, and if one is an illegal content room, ban that room and the user who joined it, and clear out your media cache.
