mastodon 4.7.3Standard nerd working in video games’ social media and community management. Sharing retro nostalgia and contemporary gaming content, news and reviews. Kindness and inclusive community vibes, always.
Hey Gamers and Geeks! I'm trying to find people who are:
- safe and inclusive
- non-toxic
- anti-discrimination
- kind (but not to unkind people)
- in love with geeky / nerdy things
- Basically Just Nice
- Especially if you like Discworld
If that sounds like you, please come! I'm actively trying to promote safer gaming spaces online, but especially through our Twitch and Discord communities.

I am not 100% if mine was Oh Mummy, Harrier Attack or Roland on the Ropes, but I AM old enough to remember rewinding a video game with a pencil and NO I will not explain further.
I noticed things have quietened down on Mastodon over the past few months. Where are all the nerds at?
Is there a game which you absolutely adore, but you couldn't possible explain even at gunpoint?
The #Discworld video games are 100% my choice. You play a Wizzard, right, but he can't do magic, and he has a box on legs, and to capture an octopus you need custard
You told me off for not playing it, so tonight I am delving into a classic retro point and click with Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis! join me now at https://twitch.tv/pixelbandits
What did you call yours?
Elite Dangerous CMDRs, I need your help! I never flew my Sidewinder - but I think she still deserves to have a name, right?
Another fine week on Twitch. On Thursday, find stunning pixel-art visuals and side-scrolling combat, and then on Sunday we're back to for ANOTHER Age of Empires II campaign. Which one would you pick next?

As it's trending, here's a little about me with some of my favourite games in some overly-specific categories! I'd love to know where you'd go different as well, so share with your own or just tell me below!

I need a name!! What would your best tabletop game shop name be?
I'm kicking off this week's stream with some chill shop management. Come and join me, and we'll pretend that we could totally do this in real life.
This is my problem. I can't just pick one game to be the "best ever" - YOU pick one!
I can't even narrow it down to a single year.

This seems like an overly dangerous purchase to make at a time where nobody is watching you too closely in the office.
BUT...
@nazokiyoubinbou@urusai.social haha fret not! Huge fan of the books and cartoons and (most of the) TV shows. And the music. And the art. The list keeps going doesn't it 😂 turtles all the way down, I'm afraid.
This is getting absolutely RIDICULOUS now. Tik Tok have given ANOTHER Community Guidelines violation.
For THIS video (still up on all other platforms) https://youtube.com/shorts/Hhgoa6upA5w
The last was a clip of Brian Lara Cricket captioned "When the beat (leather on willow) hits just right"
Guess the Game last week sent a LOT of you the wrong way! Simpsons' Hit and Run was the WRONG answer, I'm afraid (even if I can see why you went there).
Did you ever jump into Road Rage? It's Crazy Taxi with a not-entirely-child-safe edge :D
