One thing I have yet to accomplish, even now as I write this, let alone back when we streamed this league, is the ability to begin grinding out maps for the endgame secret bosses. I only began scratching at the surface of the endgame of PoE beyond this league playthrough, and I hope to someday be able to partake again. As for the SoK league itself, while I enjoyed our time in it, I do feel a bit odd now that it's become evergreen and we just collect gold to pay for our AFK farms. I already have a passive farming game, I don't need another grindset to commit to. I'm just here for the Diablo spiritual successor gameplay and deep character builds. The Righteous Fire Templar build is slowly taking shape, at least. We continue to creep ever closer to the threshold at which we no longer take damage while it's activated. So I've been tinkering with another DN3D ported gadget, this time with the Holo-Dupe! I've gotten it to copy the exact sprite/frame of the player who tossed it, as well as render it shaded with the player's color. It sets mobs within LoS to target the hologram instead of you, which makes for some neat distraction tactics. For our next VOD from Doomcember 2023, we decided to switch gears slightly, having bitten off a bit more than I could chew during the month trying to complete the entire WadSmoosh'd collection with Corruption Cards, we'd instead give SIGIL + SIGIL II a try, as the latter had just released. Both SIGIL and its sequel are fantastic quasi-official entries into the classic Doom franchise, and while SIGIL II had a few quirks that had some of their own discussion surrounding them since it released, they're both plenty of fun playing casually.
