@Tutanota@mastodon.social Linus worked on a kernel, not on an OS. I'm going to keep saying this till the end of times

mastodon 4.7.3Hi! My name is Muhammad, I am a 14 (+1) years old programmer and I love free software.
I code since I was 11 and I use Fedora GNU/Linux. (And yes, I always say GNU/Linux, you should too! 😉)
I'm the creator of LibreUI, see below
The "free" in my username means free - as in freedom. Free Software, Free 🇵🇸

@akromos@mastodon.social @DanielMReck@mas.to @angusm@mastodon.social I used to daily drive Tor. Btw, the internet itself is kind of ARPAnet's successor, so clear web too "was a military project"

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social "have committed" should be "is committing"

@stux@mstdn.social Unfurtunately, it looks like we humans can't agree on anything..

@DanielMReck@mas.to @angusm@mastodon.social Use Tor browser then. It's going to be slow though

@angusm@mastodon.social First, they ban children from social media, then they teach them workarounds?

@jiub@not.an.evilcyberhacker.net I'll always defend micro and nano

@jeffmcneill@hachyderm.io @Gusted@social.linux.pizza The OP is simply saying that Forgejo and Codeberg are not the right place to do stuff with AI, and points you to what they assume is the right place. This is obviously not rude, there's nothing wrong against this.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social is Whatsapp coming next?
@serigala_tropis@lgbtqia.space I often use micro when coding, even with larger programs. It's comfortable to do everything in the terminal

@faden The one from Apollo 13 is actually a misquote. Swigert said: "Okay, Houston ... we've had a problem here."

@danluu They will bake ads into FLOSS apps and websites: "Use Microsoft services for better experience! Leave free software now!"

@davidcelis@xoxo.zone I started coding because it was fun, too. I then started using ai, it made stuff boring, then returned to doing stuff myself
Replying to
@privacyguides@mastodon.neat.computer @Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange I use tor everyday, and enjoy onion services. It's just a little slow, but that's not the main problem: many websites block tor users. Personally, what I do when this happens is just, not use the website

@akkana@fosstodon.org I got a hearth attack by just looking at this photo

@larger0o@owo.cafe @nixCraft@mastodon.social In italian, sudo means "I'm sweating" like in spanish, even though normal people would say "Sto sudando"

@mikebabcock@floss.social @lcamtuf@infosec.exchange > Does this sound professional?" is a perfectly reasonable thing to ask an agent.
I don't agree. You could find millions of results by googling "how to write a professional email" and take that as an opportunity to sharpen your skills

@Tutanota I think I'd be better off if I went to live on Venus, all by myself and not worrying the tiniest bit about surveillance

@miqueiasklippel@mastodon.social I've been using Fedora for a little over a year now and, like you, I use GNOME, even though I have tried some other DEs at times. What is making you think about switching to KDE? I'd like to know, thanks
Replying to
@GossiTheDog I sometimes use AI chatbots it when searching for emojis. I send prompts like "print the whale emoji" and it's much faster than searching on an app. I believe this doesn't hurt my ability to think

@64bithero@mstdn.games Many of the things it said weren't actually true. For example, my phone's battery level was 15%, and the website said my phone was charging and at 100%

@TimWardCam@c.im @Gargron@mastodon.social What distro did you install? I have installed quite a few distros and I have really never changed settings in the bios to do so. The distros I have installed are:
Fedora,
Debian
Elementary OS (based on Ubuntu)

@jackemled @GossiTheDog Bc I never find what I need, and since I use emojis mostly in the browser, opening another tab is easier than opening the app

@profoundlynerdy@bitbang.social I dont know.. Disabling Google Play Services would do the trick, but then some apps would stop working. I disabled it on my phone, along with removing lots of stuff with ADB.
