Today's prompt: draw something with only 3 colors

The reference pic is a meme I've seen floating around. So, if you recognize it, that's why.

Here is a bookmark that I made for a local craft swap. Took me forever to figure out what to do. Its theme was Hope and Resilience. Then I was like, Salmon!

And, the garden is planted. Finally.

No lettuce or spring veggies this year.

But, I am trying corn, beans and squash for the first time. I did not space their plantings out correctly, time wise. It is a fun experiment for me. There is often too much shade in that corner of my parents' yard.

Does anyone know if there is a hashtag for art prompts? I know two specialty ones like drawtober and sillycuratorprompts (I miss these), but I was curious if there was an all encompassing one that people use

I recently watched the Netflix special Will & Harper about Harper Steele, former SNL writer, and her story about her transition. I am looking for more pieces like this. Even single episodes of shows would be nice.

Recommendations and boosts welcome.

Oh woe is me. I just saw that the first Panic! At The Disco album turned 20 this year.

Excuse me while I go cry through my eyeliner

Spouse just looked out the window at our newly opened flowers and said "Welp, pilgrims any day now." 😂

Our current mayor, who was funded by realestate companies, lost the race. And, more people voted in this midterm election, in my area, than had in previous midterms.

Time to celebrate the small wins!

Daily Prompt: Draw your greatest fear

Okay, not my greatest fear, but I do not like them anywhere near me

I have a red-winged blackbird outside my window. So cool! Guessing they are resting inbetween different wetlands

me: Yup, this looks right. [writes "inflammed"]

Also me: You keep writing inflammed. What is flamming? [sighs]

I painted a couple of mermaids. Knowing me, I really need to take a break and finish them tomorrow. I am nervous to paint the water. Not sure if I should give the mermaids the same hue as the water or paint around them. Crossing my fingers that whatever I pick works out because they are pretty cute.

Now playing: Tea For The Tillerman, Cat Stevens

I forgot how good this album is

I'm stuck on the next prompt, so I might skip it. If anyone else wants to try here it is

Daily prompt: draw your biggest secret

I am behind on logging my tv for last month. There was one show I watched that I felt was worth a mention. I am in love with Zach Galifianakis's new show "This Is A Gardening Show". It is 90s PBS in the best way, but also funny. Its for both kids and adults.

Also, the future is agrarian. I want that on a bumper sticker

Is anyone else watching this show? Its on a weird platform, but the show is very good. The latest episode was excellent. The allegories about tech and greed seem spot on to me.

My favorite quote: "This is the shape I come in!"

Does anyone have an affordable suggestion for avoiding neck strain while drawing or painting?

I currently sit at a table and use a little wood book stand, but even that is really hurting my neck and shoulders with my muscle tension issues I've been having lately.

As a nonbinary and genderqueer person I have conflicting feelings on the subject of leg shaving. How do you feel about shaving your legs?

Please choose your preference, not what you currently choose to do.
