mastodon 4.7.2Singer/songwriter from South Wales (Aberdare/Cardiff), UK.
Sad melancholic acoustic and foot stomping, classic late 80's, early 90's radio rock.
(Also a 3rd line wintel sysadmin for my sins.)
more and more I find myself using the "don't recommend channel" option on YouTube.
my latest was a channel that just posted the entire Ride the Lightning album by Metallica.
ANYONE who is just bulk posting other peoples stuff = "don't recommend channel".
People who just grifting the "reaction video" nonsense = "don't recommend channel"
Cleaning my YouTube feed up, one grift channel at a time
My new album isnt out for another month so I have nothing new for #bandcampFriday
However, I have two beautifully melancholic acoustic singer/songwriter albums waiting for you, a comfy sofa, your favourite drink and some soft lighting.

Imagine if AC/DC, Bon Jovi, pre-Hysteria Def Leppard, Bryan Adams and The Cult had a baby and that baby was born with a great rock voice and not only a guitar, but also a baritone guitar in the other hand!
Strap in for the best 39 minutes of 'modern' classic rock you'll hear this year!!

Thought for the day:
When you have unlimited 'choice' (unlimited music on Spotify for example)
you no longer care about your choices
discuss
#RaisedByOwls smashing it out of the park with their new video 😂🤣

"Football has always been a huge part of my life and identity, and no matter where life has taken me, the dream of competing professionally never truly left my heart," said Fernandez..
NO Fernandez, Football IS life!!!

This is the closest I've come to an existential crisis on #YouTube
I HATE that this is like 99% likely to be totally AI, but the massive #anime fan in me would KILL for an anime studio to rotoscope and animate the original #TopGun #movie like this!!!
(the original films flight/cockpit footage is sooooo bad now compared to TG Maverick)
RE: @theguardian_us_culture@halo.nu
it's the only way they can get a 30 minute set? 😂

#TheMiddle for #JimmyEatWorld fans who went to summer camp and sat around a camp fire instead of going to a cool suberbs frat house party with a pool
everyone says Zach Braff looks like Dax Shepard.
But I would like to throw a new name into the mix.
Zach Braff looks like Malcolm Galdwell
once you see it you can't unsee it
Moloko - Sing it Back is just a nice, early 2000's pop dance song, right??.....
nope, try a 10-minute borderline prog-esque absolute festival crusher of a performance!

Hands down the hardest song I ever covered by a country mile! And chances are you've never heard of it or the band and it's a damn shame as they should have been f***ing massive!
The closest I ever came to absolute perfection:

Imagine if AC/DC, Bryan Adams, The Cult, pre-Hysteria Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Dokken had an orgy and produced a baby.
"If You Want Rock, You Got It!" is gonna scratch that 80's, early 90's classic rock/hard rock itch like nothing else!
