Our Itch page:
Since there is no news about kittens, here's Kitty-boo among the plants in our flower-meadow corner, watching the birds in nearby trees.
(I wanted to check what the plant is, through the PlantNet app, so I used the photo below and got the result of: Not a plant. Might be animalia. 😄 After cropping Boo out, it says it's probably crownvetch.)
My hellebores bloomed! It took forever for the buds to open. Also, how do people take normal pictures of these flowers? I either have to twist the flower (gently) or lie down on the ground, since they mostly face down 🤔 Do everyone else's hellebores look up/straight ahead?
Just ordered some strawberry plants. I feel a little guilty for spending money (I'm trying to expand the garden by collecting seeds/cuttings from nature or neighbours), but I guess they'll "pay" for themselves eventually. I went for white ones, ones that bloom pink, and some normal ones. I hope we'll be able to have a taste this summer 🤞
(If you have - unusual or not - strawberry experience, I'd love to hear it.)

@ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social Beautiful (and sad). Do you have a link to more photos from there?

@squishymage42@dice.camp I think this just might be what I need now. Thanks for letting the world know ❤️

@0mega@sk.zehnvorne.social @ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social Same ☺️ But they are all adorable.

@buck@mastodon.social @jolla@techhub.social Agreed. As a smaller-handed person, I'd love a small phone.

@ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social I'm reading Terry Pratchett's Moving Pictures now, this reminds me of that 😉

@RegularRaptor I (not much of a social media person) originally made this account to promote our game(s). Now I post about cats, gardening, books and such (and once in a blue moon try to make people aware of the game). FWIW, I follow an account that exclusively promotes their games, nothing extra, nothing personal, and I don't really care for it that much. I'd love to see more of them besides the gamedev aspect 🤷♀️

@marsiposa@social.coop I'll have to try that 👍 They are delicious, indeed, but so small that the taste is gone too fast 😄 They fruit a lot, but with the size, we just use them as a little extra on top of desserts. The new big ones will hopefully result in some jams, too.

@fedops@fosstodon.org My very limited experience is also that they are tough and "durable". Slugs might be a problem, although I haven't seen any this year yet 🤔 I think the winter we had was bad for them (and good for us 😉). Otherwise I'm in the habit of slug hunting every night after they appear, and I think I gradually managed to decrease their population. Still, it's a neverending fight.

@marsiposa@social.coop Cool, thanks for the link. We have a couple of mini strawberries now, and slugs have been the only problem so far. The bigger ones I ordered could attract birds. I'll keep the solutions in mind in case some critters decide to munch on them.

@gbraad@mastodon.social @danielalbu@mastodon.gamedev.place Exactly 😭 Anyway, don't finish it. It's better that way (my opinion).

@gbraad@mastodon.social The ending is sort of meta about gaming and such (I don't remember the specifics any more, it has been 9 years). Could hit right with some players, but I like closure and it didn't have that. Otherwise it's a great game, but I was majorly disappointed.

@ramon_wilhelm@mastodon.gamedev.place I looked at GOG, it's not there, but a different Sherlock Holmes is in the dreamlist, so I gave it a vote, too ☺️ Ah well, I have enough games waiting for me...

@ramon_wilhelm@mastodon.gamedev.place Never heard of it 😱 Can one get it somewhere these days?

@jadedtwin The tree is totally Bob-Rossian! ☺️ (I love listening to his videos, they make my brain feel good.)

@TarkabarkaHolgy I got excited for a moment about what the Slovak equivalent might be, but it's just "cards have turned". Boring.

@zlabas @MartinaNeumayer@mastodon.social I guess that wouldn't be financially feasible, at least at this stage. As a person of the female persuasion, I don't mind what it looks like, but I do mind that it's big. I'd love a phone that I could operate with only one of my small hands.

@MCDuncanLab@mstdn.social In the picture they had on the website, most of the seeds were red, and a few were green, so maybe that indicates the ripeness? We'll have to wait and see 😊 It's going to be an adventure.
