Local pub has started doing alcoholic hot chocolate now. Must be autumn, also may now be slightly drunk.

Specifically the question is "So what are we gonna do tonight?"

I wish I was allowed to take pictures of some of the farms I visit for work.
Some of them would shock you.
Some of them would awe you.
And one or two would ever so slightly scare you.
One I visited today in the hills above #Girvan fell into the latter category. Ever so slightly sinister it were.
Almost as much a castle as a farm, crenelations and all. Parked in the courtyard, it was more than a bit Brontë, with a slice of #HammerHorror too maybe.
I really do despise #EarlSpencer right now. He's making me agree with #PiersMorgan. There is no point saying he'll correct libellous claims in a second edition, not when the first edition is still selling. Even #PissMorgan has a right to be upset over that and require it removed from sale.
I mean, sure I could go home, cook, and eat healthy. Or the local kebab shop is selling a tray of what it calls "mystery meat" for £2 and I could plonk my tired ass on the sofa and just guzzle that like some sort of farm animal.
I think we all can trust me to make the right choice...
I just learned there is a toyline called "fingerling fairies" and... did nobody run this past the internet first?
Or do I just have a dirty mind?
Remember that incredibly dry supermarket frozen sausage I tried last Sunday? Cooked up some more this week, boiled them and then finished with some risotto rice and a homemade curry blend and some mixed veg.
Two things. Never forget the bayleaf. I don't know what it does, but I can taste when it isn't there. Also, still very dry despite the primary cooking method involving water. Really needs a source of fat too.
Still have some left, will try a long casseroling in a butter blend next time.
