Profile pic is Simpsons-style image of woman with short orange hair wearing blue t-shirt & cat-eye glasses in a bar. Above that is photo of sun rising over hazy forested ridge with a mini-rainbow on either side of the sun. Foreground is trees and snow-dusted construction site.

I had earbuds in when an Amber Alert came through my phone just now. Do not recommend.

@chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca Really hoping Canadians continue the boycott even if provinces relent or are forced by trade measures.

@Compassionatecrab@mstdn.social @jbayes@sfba.social Ah, pity. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm curious about the eco ball another commenter mentioned.
My city has a place that sold eco & human-friendly things in bulk so one could refill own containers, but alas it is closing. Their laundry powder brand is Mint.

@jbayes@sfba.social @Compassionatecrab@mstdn.social I suggest laundry sheets that come in a cardboard envelope. Very compact. Also great if you don't shop with a car.
There's a made in Canada brand too, which wasn't available last shopping day.

I'm in favour, now that we Canadians have settled our liquor-based conflict with Denmark. Would have to redo the face on the coins though.
Thoughts, @chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca ?

Aw poor YFB. I have a soft spot for him as the most entertaining politician in English-language TV debates: no fucks given whatsoever.
Wait, he's still on X? Point deduction.
