MOUSE P.I. has an achievement/trophy that you unlock by punching a member of the racists' party, so, that's cool. 😁
There's this website on which you can listen to chiptune music from old keygenerators and I love that idea. 😁
(No illegal content, just music.^^)
I use clz.com to maintain my physical movie collection. The website has positive and negative things, but all in all it's a quite good way to organize, as long as you're willing to pay the annual fee.
That said, among already having many fields to fill out, if you want, you can also add "custom fields". And as you can see it on an example on my Secret of NIMH disk, you can use these custom fields for totally useful things.
("Ja" und "Nein" meaning "Yes" and "No")
Edit: "No" was the standard value, of course "Yes" is correct for this movie! 😁
I finally read the IGN review for the game, which caught attention online because it only rated the game 6/10.
Now, don't get me wrong! It's totally fine not to like a game that I love. Or vice versa.
But the reasoning for it, to me, are on the same level of hilariousity as their previous "too much water" Pokemon review.
Let me quickly summarize what MOUSE is, very superficial: It is a "boomer shooter", which is inspired by movies and features a world where all characters are mice (and shrews).
The IGN reviewers disliked:
- Too many cheese puns
- Too many movie references
- The main character (who's supposed to be a private investigator) killing too many people
- Too many levels having you fight against enemy hordes
...
Too many killed people...in a First Person Shooter!
"Yoshi's Island" ROM hack replacing the Yoshis with the KDE dragons and baby Mario with baby Kandalf, please? 😁😊
"Why is it a thing that developers always release their game at 9 or 10 in the morning?"
Erm...timezones exist? The developer is European and not from the USA? Damn, people that have "US defaultism" stuck in their mind like they're the only place on the planet piss me off. *sighs*
(Of course that's not just a USA-thing, but it's the part of the world I read such and similar complaints most of the time. Ya know I'm a fuck-borders guy that doesn't give a damn about where you come from in general.)
It's the 1st of May, which means many countries will have their Workers' Rights / Labour Days today.
So, if you, like me, will be at a demonstration/protest today, for workers' rights, or against fascism, or both:
Thank you! Best wishes, drink enough, stay healthy and safe!
It's great to stand and walk together with you, we have to stand up and stand our ground, for us, and for those that need us to protect them.
Thank you all for doing your part, have a good day, you're awesome!
Oh, there are at least some OLED TVs these days with an EU energy efficiency class of E and F (the range goes from A to G, G being the worst).
To be fair: only on SDR, as soon as they usw HDR, they're back to G.
But hey, I assumed TV manufacturers had just completely given up on trying to be more energy efficient...I still think they have. 😅
Also, talking about tech manufacturers and energy:
I could totally save the energy my Always-On display uses if they hadn't taken the little notification LEDs from us!
Those were great! Simple, efficient, even different colors for different apps if you wanted. I'd like those back!
It's nice that games these days, at least on Steam, offer their soundtracks and artbooks more often. I like those, and many games with awesome art styles should put together artbooks, even if it's just a loose collection of concept art without any actual "book" formatting.
It's nice to see (and hear) more of the work that got into the making of a game. (And movies, as well!)
"Mouse P.I." releases in about two hours!
I expect saucy fanart of Tammy Tumbler tomorrow the latest! Don't let me down! 😁 I'm already disappointed it didn't happen after the release trailer, like when Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was announced! 😁

With all my talk about preserving and/or owning physical media, I just wanna show off my Brok Deluxe Edition once again:
The physical edition combined old-fashioned ownership with modern things by actually, physically including the game...on a USB Stick in the game case.
You own it, it works offline, you still have something physical, the stick even has a cute, fitting color and, if you want to, well, it's a USB-Stick, you can even update the game on it, something a CD did, obviously, not allow.
As consumer friendly as Steam is, surprisingly, it's still a pity that physical games on PC have basically been dead for quite a long time by now. And I think this release was a fun way to handle that, I really appreciate it!
