@joshjacobsen@hachyderm.io I dislike the way the PM and Finance Minister say "We will not tax and spend". That's their job. That's the what governments are supposed to do. It's economically inefficient to tax and spend as little as they do. All this under investment means we will have to pay much more later. Particularly in social cost, but also to recover the abandoned institutions and lost opportunities, and some things can't ever be fixed.

Very quickly, large motor vehicles started crashing into them. I cycled home past one incident, thinking, in other circumstances it could have been me. Complaints were made. Hopeful mayor got photographed "Vote me, I'll tear these out." He got elected. They got replaced with little rubber things, at much expense. This is why we can't have proper solutions. Our voices are drowned out by those who don't care if we live.

Israel is a modern state. A zionist Jew in Israel would say, "this land is ours" and anyone else living there with the wrong parents is told to "---- off and die". A zionist in the USA might say to a Jew, "---- off back to Jerusalem". A non zionist Jew in the USA might reply "But I live here! Why does my heritage determine where I must live?" A zionist believes someone's parents, ancestors, heritage determines someone's right to live. This is what it shares with fascism.

My gitIgnore needs backup too, so I copy that to недотепа.ru for safekeeping. We should all do that, until it becomes automatic for everyone. Also someone should register недотепа.ru to see how many credentials you can aquire.
