@ArchiteuthisFlux@leds.social Someone with too much money please try to order this. I really, really want to see the reaction of the manufacturer :neofox_box:

@thezoq2 Those are some great points.
I couldn't count the amount of times I was able to solve some problem in an interesting way because of an insight from some random bullshit I was tinkering with half a decade ago.
Also, when I write code for work I need to understand it thoroughly, and when I write code for fun I want to at least learn something from it.
Those aren't really possible if I let something else do my thinking

@luc0x61 @xssfox @NanoRaptor to be clear, that was a joke. I absolutely love that layout, that's a really smart use of board space. It does look like a bit of a pain to do, though.

@xssfox @NanoRaptor If you find yourself placing an IC at any angle other than 0 or 45 degrees you should probably question your design requirements or life choices

@julianbohne oh, that's why you are using that using statement specifically for the swap function. Sneaky :vlpn_squint:

@mwk@donotsta.re Sometimes I get the feeling that Xilinx engineers occasionally outsource design decisions to random drunkards at the pub, just to spice things up a little :blobcatthisisfine:

@hailey@hails.org Classic case of "I was right about something unrelated decades ago, therefore I am very smart and can't be wrong about random bullshit", I guess

@0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange Hieroglyphic languages feel so alien. I feel like if I don't clean my room and leave a bunch of random items strewn on the floor, some ancient Luwian would think I insulted their mother or something

@burne@waag.social @foone@digipres.club yeah, but a standard CR2032 cell is a part you get at every corner store and a socket costs cents. These things are harder to source and replace.
