Those are SO cool. I had one of them with a PhotoBooster in my Quadra 800 when I was a teenager. I probably bought it at their absolute nadir of value, and gave it to another collector when I was downsizing.

I really enjoyed the “load up a bunch of shit into your computer” era, ProTools systems with 16 slot expansion chassis, stuff like that.

Maybe it generated an air convection current that kept the board under the right one cooler than the rest, and they all just charred the board from constant heat?
