I’ve been looking at a pile of sheets and towels that I need to fold and put away for 5 days. This is a new level of procrastination.
Canada should hit any of these carve-outs with an export tax until all tariffs are lifted. None of these games to pit Canadian industries against one another.

We had a family dinner last night to talk about vacation plans. Open revolt. They do not want to go to PEI. I tried Quebec City or Montreal, which is still our fallback plan. Now we are thinking about Iceland because they want swimming and interesting terrain.

@gemelliz@mstdn.ca we are on two separate waiting lists right now. Unsure how long one is but the other is anticipated to be several years. It’s so long that the Sick Kids list is full and we are on the CHEO list. My kid might age out of the system before we can reach the top.

@gwynnion@mastodon.social I’ve been listening to podcasts about the Cass Review and how the review claims social transition leads to puberty blockers and hormones without any acknowledgment that being trans leads to all of those things. They should change “watchful waiting” to “watchful waiting for your kid to die”.
I was going to get a shower but I got stuck watching this sledge hockey game. Slovakia winning 2-1 against Japan in the 3rd.
