This is a ridiculous situation. The original Pixel Watch used one type of wireless charging. Then the Pixel Watch 2 & 3 removed wireless charging and swapped to a different charging mechanism. And… 👀 Read more: https://shkspr.mobi/blog/2025/08/why-dont-smart-watches-use-usb-c-to-recharge/ ⸻ #gadget #usb-c #watch

As if I needed another #project I've been working on recreating the clock from FunHouse #pinball to use as a #Pebble #watch face. Starting with a vector illustration in #inkscape, then I'll head over to a raster editor to make sure everything looks clean and readable at the small size/resolution of the Pebble. I'm also planning on rendering Rudy's face with eyes/eyelids/mouth that can animate, a segment display for extra info, and perhaps speech bubbles that pop up his iconic lines.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@villebooks/117025146665169268 🗨️ Everyone should #watch these eyewitness accounts closely and - moving beyond the empty words of global governments (against illegal #apartheid ) - finally take active steps as citizens to defend the #humanrights and humanitarian laws that apply to us all - especially to everyone holding an #EU passport who thinks that a #genocide commissioned by our government has no impact on future generations here - #palestine #law#germany #france #italy #warcrimes#genevaconvention #romestatute

A whole fuckton of #violence for just one #watch - even if it was a #Rolex and they split proceeds 6 ways they wouldn't even get near 2 grand each, and with all the #CCTV these days they would be certain to get nicked, which is exactly what happened and now they have all got a lot of #porridge WTF is it with #Kent ? Easily competing with Essex to be the #FloridaofEngland #Crime doesn't even make rational sense, seems to be motivated more by #ToxicMasculinity as financial gain? #burglary #UK https://www.itv.com/news/meridian/2026-04-11/six-men-jailed-for-violent-burglary-which-left-two-people-seriously-injured
