British TV #11 The Great British Bake Off There is a German show, Das Große Backen, which seems to be a copy, but I've never followed it. I started watching the UK variety because my friend loves that show and baking. I haven't watched it from the beginning but I think around season 10, when it was with Noel and Sandy as presenters. When I catch older seasons I must say that Paul Hollywood has aged nicely into his looks. White hair really suits him. I usually don't care too much for the people on the show at first, but later they grow on you and we usually have a favourite after a while. People really take baking a lot more seriously than I do and decoration will never be my thing. I don't like the thought of fondant being handled a lot and then you don't even bake it before you eat it and it doesn't even taste good.

#bikepacking trip, day #11. We left the lake in a hurry due to all the mosquitos that gathered around and descended for breakfast in Seljord. The best parts today were cycling around the various lakes and stopping for a dip in one of them. We finished the day in Dalen. 95 km. #cycling #norway #norge

What I'm listening to today: "Mixtur Trautonium (exercise #11)", LudoWic I linked one of LudoWic's Trautonium pieces on Wednesday; here's a more complex one, probably the most complex of these "exercises" he's uploaded, with a soothing, rhythmic clicking (which I can't even figure out where it's coming from) providing percussion.
