@isaacfreeman@cloudisland.nz isn’t the idea to not rank the unpleasant ones … otherwise they can pick up your vote if it transfers? Or sis I miss something?
@rmi@cloudisland.nz wait until they see python and how all those tabs gave a spreadsheet the power to burn the earth to a crisp and overthrow humanity…
@talios@mastodon.nz these always seem like they should be solved problems… like how many ways can you actually do this?
No wait. That’s a silly expectation
@paw@mstdn.io@keoni@mastodon.nz Ivory on iOS handles the push by them having a server that connects to your instance and consumes the feed and then uses the native push. So… interesting in where your data is going. Before it gets to you

The native mastodon app takes a similar approach… and uses an app called toot-relay … all on GitHub. Likely similar approach in android.
@pearofdoom@cloudisland.nz my nas is only 1gbit :( so kinda hard to test things full. But this was the wifi, which was okay… or I plug in a nic to a phone 🤣 … the 10g internal trunks are possibly over kill, but have a 2g fibre
@xssfox@cloudisland.nz the script that the marketing person injects with gtm that pisses off the csp that was added for compliance that no one monitors
@talios@mastodon.nz I’m a loser, so I’d pick one that follows the template rfc and isn’t just dumb strings so I can fuck around with a uri as a thing… maybe I’m damaged… but we always want to fuck around with a uri more than just making it …
But now I’ve got a new life, and it involves more JavaScript than one should consider reasonable … worst timeline
@Stevet@mastodon.nz@morganpyne@mastodon.nz
they have also been fucking with the fittings recently to a weird quick connect one. and then some places give the oh-bubbles ones... instead..
just drank beer
So did JBhiFi get popped? Got a scam email last night that has all the signatures and signed brand identity stuff, effectively came from their mail domain. Only off thing in it was a phone number.
Strikes me that sending a fully authenticated email via mailchimp is not a think that bad guys should be able to do….
@aurynn@cloudisland.nz I’ve been using ghostty for the last while, but I’m not sure what it is actually doing for me, that normal terminal does. Probably just going to go back to terminal.app it never really hurt my feelings enough to care about alternatives..
