Probably the second most boring person on the internet.
To emphasise, I usually load up images with much more interesting alt-text than the actual post. Because I can.
Banner is of the original Mercury Rev album - Yerself is Steam. I have nothing to do with Mercury Rev. Except I like the album cover and have listened to it too. You should.

Sad?
It's magnificent, even upstaging a Nelson region vehicle.
Must admit an eclectic collection of images with it.

Well that's certainly seen a few rainy days too - the Justy could do with the missing cylinder and damn!
I had to settle for a rebadged Daewoo - funny thing previous owner purchased to take up a parking space which others used and blocked his work entrnce
But bonus it goes and has a half okay stereo

Yeh the engine certainly feels, shall we say, unrefined. 😆 At they put in a proper, er stereo
And the gearing ratios are a bit better too - a bit short on the i30 for my liking (unless they'd chucked in a sixth gear)
We'll see - at least it'd be a good learner car
And sure wreckers will have lots of parts

Bully. It's pretty rough, as in just feeling mediocre construction, but I will see - had an easy well maintained life so far so I'm guessing I've three years 😆

Oh yes, but this one was an auto - had much less pickup than my 1.0L Sirion and couldn't get above 80!
But I'm betting on having an outlier which actually goes okay - brakes seem to work a lot better than late model Discoverys, judging by their inability to stop on amber traffic lights 😆

Tried a Focus (not diesel, work ones were TERRIBLE, like explosively in one case), but something wasn't quite there and firm on price.
Could have got a 2011 Vectra for under $2k, but vetoed 😆 on account it being diesel
Anyone know anything on these? I had a yeller 1980 model - best car ever, but not so sure about this one. Dull looking and WTF is the gear stick doing there?

Oddly in a small town, I had the same reaction from others. Got on vinyl though because it was cheaper, by a lot - a weeks wages from after school job as opposed to a week and a half

Bonuses, it was cheap and not much higher mileage than current car
Seemed no-one else much wanted to bid on it, the shame

Had an '05 station-wagon and my $100 '05 saloon, but they both had the 2.0L engi e which goes long after the car stops
A bit spongy the latter due to mileage I think
And neither were green
