Since it’s a small passion project that was more fun to write than it was to try getting anyone to buy, I decided to lift the price altogether and make it free with an optional donation prompt.
It is a warm and affectionate furry romance/erotica short story about Stella, a forward jaguar, and Finn, a softie Labrador with a green thumb. They start out as roommates, and learn to appreciate each other for so much more throughout this brief, roughly 3000(?) words story.
I’m kind of new to ‘serious’ writing, let alone self-publishing. Hope it’s a good read regardless!

Yeah, it's bollocks. Ukraine still has Internet infrastructure. It's not as hard to destroy internet connectivity in a war precisely because of the distributive nature of routable networks.
In other words, Starlink is completely unnecessary. Ukraine's gonna be fine... at least internet wise.

@EmilyEnough Another thing is that it seems to hijack the thinking autonomy of a lot of people. People defer to an LLM instead of putting the struggle and effort into researching and learning. I'm not anti-convenience, but when we don't need to think about things anymore, the brain's thinking facilities just atrophy.

Triarc is honestly kinda dead as it has been waiting for a rewrite for a while now. I had been considering rewriting it in Rust or something, but eh. If nothing else, it's certainly in the backlog

@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place @neckspike@indiepocalypse.social I'm no HVAC expert, but I'm pretty sure it's what you call any air conditioning system that takes air from the room and just pumps it back in instead of venting it out. I think they usually require some sort of filtering.
But I doubt you can just filter viruses out of the air, they're minuscule! You'd need some weird sorta osmosis crap or something and that would just increase the energy cost (and thus ecological impact) 10x or something.

That doesn't mean deploying a hecto-mesh of satellites is the approach to go with for resilient remote miltary operations. I mean, think about it this way: did Iran need Starlink to strike Dubai with drones?

I just think LLMs are the next level of this, one that's about to be way worse, and way more societally impactful, than any before. I mean, look at what it's doing to primary education, like smartphones - the shiny silicon tablets designed to a tee to trap your attention - didn't do enough damage to it already.
