Not even a fun distraction from my mother entering week 2 of her stay in hospital after a fall last week, turning out to be due to anaemia from a bleeding stomach ulcer.

Wokes! Octopus (UK) are recommending me a Tesla powerwall or two for getting 26kWh of #battery storage with islanding support. Are there any non Tesla products as good? Other brands like solax with similar capacity I'm hearing less good things. Lower reliability, lower depth of discharge.
I have a heat pump and potentially not much solar panel space.
A #StayFrosty #TTRPG sesh today, between DCC games. Everyone joins in with the motion tracker noises.

The alphaESS looked promising but I don't think their addition batteries physically stack by the looks of their website. Hmm. Octopus' install of the heat pump has actually left me little room indoors.
