Cześć, tu ZAHORYZONT 👋 Polski sklep z TTRPG, który powstał z prostej potrzeby: chcemy mieć na półce gry, które sami chcemy czytać, prowadzić i kolekcjonować. Mothership, MÖRK BORG, CY_BORG, Frontier Scum, Death in Space, OSR, NuSR i kolejne mniej oczywiste gry z całego świata. Będziemy tu pokazywać nowe odkrycia, zaglądać do środka podręczników i dzielić się tym, co właśnie trafia do ZAHORYZONTU. Jeśli siedzicie w TTRPG, rozgośćcie się. #Introduction #TTRPG #GryFabularne #OSR #ZAHORYZONT

So, what to do in #Aarhus and #Malmö ? I am into #OSR and #Indie #TTRPG and like #Wargaming of the #ForbiddenPsalm / #Indie28 kind. Well, I actually also like playing #BoardGames and listening to #atmosphericblackmetal and #dungeonsynth . Bonus: any stuff to do with my family and good places for eating out.

Here are the Mongrelfolk : D&D's bottom-rung race, so tragic in their origins yet so tenacious in their survival. My favorite humanoid race! #dnd #dndart #osr #monstermanual #ttrpg #fantasy #dungeonsanddragons

Because another designer recently put out an RPG called Violence, the NSR discord started talking about Violence by Designer X from 1999. Turns out it was re-released via CC-NC-SA. So everyone should read this work of art. It is satire, from the guy who brought you Paranoia. “What Is a Roleplaying Game? Brother, if you don’t know, this is not the place to start.” http://www.costik.com/Violence%20RPG1.pdf #TTRPG #OSR #NSR #Satire #Paranoia #ParanoiaRpg #GregCostikyan

I need more urban adventures for d&dish settings. What would convince Captain Crowe (motivation: charity) the adventurers are worthy of her allegiance? #TTRPG #OSR #NSR #DND #ADND #GMPrep

Recent discussion reminded me of a blog post I wrote in 2013 about how there is a connection of sorts between Alternity and FASERIP. Sadly, the wayback machine seems to have lost my images. https://web.archive.org/web/20170101063703/https://www.kirith.com/random-wizard/articles/faserip-alternity.html But I have backups! FASERIP is a roll high on 1d100 with a chart to have degrees of success. (Image 2) If you flip FASERIP to a roll low on 1d100 and plot the dgrees of success, you get (Image 3) Alternity is a roll low on a 1d20 with a formula to figure out degrees of success which I will not go into here but you can read in the wayback machine if you are interested. If you convert that formula to a chart you get (Image 1) @ToweroftheArchmage@chirp.enworld.org @frotz @phf@tabletop.social#rpg #ttrpg #osr #gametheory

I’m not your typical dice goblin. I don’t collect dice with numbers on them. I like special use novelty dice with graphics on them! #ttrpg #ttrpgs #dice #noveltydice #dnd #adnd #bxdnd #osr #osrrpg

Me: I need to stop spending money on RPGs for a while. Also Me: Damn that sounds like a cool module I must have it… oh it’s four books and $100. Also Me: This one’s only $23… Also Me: There’s a new Pendragon book… I’ll be good, I’ll be good. At least until next paycheck … #TTRPG #OSR #NSR #CastleOfTheSilverPrince #MikesDungeon #Pendragon
