Seeing all the new friendships created and old friendships strengthened over the last 4 years has been quite something. The vibes, as they say, are off the charts

And thank you to everyone trolling me with sneaky photos of me taking photos. I now have a weird amount of these in my camera roll 😂
My favorite thing about working with a highly distributed, international team is watching all your meetings shift around randomly depending on who created them as Daylight Savings slowly rolls through the world 🤪
Project Hail Mary was fantastic. One of the all time great adaptations. Gosling, as usual, is ludicrously good

The growing St. Louis representation this year made it feel even more like a local community event 😁
Big thanks to @codedbydan@mas.to for everything you've done for this community (and for getting our epic flag made!)
On my way to Chicago for @DeepDishSwift@iosdev.space ✈️
Hope to see some of you there!
:sad-trombone: 😢
Maybe I’ll get lucky in a later round 🤞 Either way I’ll be in Cupertino all week for all the side-events to hang out with y’all. Hope to see you there!
WWDC dates are up!
I'll be there ticket or not. Been really happy with the development of community side-events, it's really easy now to fill the week with hanging out with fellow Apple developer nerds 😄
Didn’t occur to me that the new design would be a new higher end SKU instead of just the new MBP
RIP my wallet I guess…
Does Spotlight constantly break for everyone else?
I feel like every week or so I have to force a re-index or it refuses to show me apps anymore for inexplicable reasons.
New Launched! 🚀
Super excited to have @swiftlee@mastodon.social on the show. RocketSim has been a permanent fixture of my app development since almost the beginning of my time doing iOS development.
Super cool to dig into the story behind it and Antoine's writing at SwiftLee

I’m so grateful I’ve been able to participate each year with Launched Live. Massive thanks to Eric and Neem for sharing their inspirational stories this year!
THE @joshdholtz@mastodon.social is on the stage and @DeepDishSwift@iosdev.space is officially underway! 🍕
New Launched! 🚀
This week I talked to the great @frederik@mastodon.social about his crazy journey building one sec.
We talk large scale academic research, patents, and turning a small indie project into a capital B business.
Starlink on United has broken my brain where now I'm sitting in the terminal working and can't wait to get on the plane for a better internet connection 😄
RE: @charliemchapman@mastodon.social
New Framous TestFlight! 🚨
This bad boy includes _very_ beta versions of:
• New iOS app 📱
• Video framing support 🎥
• Saved defaults for frame color 🎨
• Recording indicator masking 🔴
I have no limit for now so get while the getting's good 😁
RE: @revenuecat@mastodon.social
Paywalls team is on a tear. Every time I tried to record this a new feature would pop out and I'd have to sneak it into the script 😅
And there are even more (some big 👀) coming very soon!
New Launched! 🚀
This week I talked to the one and only @joeallen@iosdev.space about the story behind the popular Teleprompter Pro app and the business he's built with it 😁
RE: @revenuecat@mastodon.social
Sneaky little feature that's actually suuuper useful
It's really handy to see all your major milestones plotted on your chart to explain spikes or to compare which releases/promotions actually moved the needle vs those that didn't.
This episode was so much fun! @swifteves@mastodon.social is one of my favorite people. Happy to get to share his story and creative energy with you all 😁
On my way to New York for the final day of the RevenueCat Catfe. If you’re in town you should come hang out!

@belovedmelody hmm, that's an interesting idea. I'll have to play around with that

Is the new liquid glass way to really just make every app look exactly the same unless there's big, pretty, photo content inside?
Surely there's a way to do this so I can quickly recognize my app's window in Mission Control but keep the app feeling at home in the new world?

@katerberg@mastodonapp.uk This is with a double shot. 32g of espresso
The hardest thing for me is getting the milk texture right. It’s nice I got closer there the color separation got a lot better

@thillsman @MuseumShuffle I meant video games!
STL has great announcers

@katerberg@mastodonapp.uk figuring out latte art has been my white whale for a while. My wife got me a proper cafe style latte cup and it made it much easier with the bigger canvas. I can now get things resembling a flower 😅

@danielmgauthier congrats! Well deserved! 👏

@BenRiceM@mastodon.social Needs more Red White and Blue but other than that, I’d say you have a bold new branding direction in your future

@BenRiceM@mastodon.social Dang, I see everyone already beat me to the dad joke on this one

@stephenrobles Not sure what you mean? Like you CMD 1 to search apps directly? Mine still doesn't find them when it gets in this state.

@ChrisLawley@mastodon.social I know a cool tech Youtuber you should get in touch with...

@__mbh__ Maybe it does align with running updates? I haven’t identified a pattern other than it’s broken often enough that I never trust it to actually work

@kyle ha, that’s what I meant!

I could tint the glass sidebar which looks... ok? But it's still too chunky unless I ignore the stoplights but, ew. The whole things feels really fragile when I start trying to customize anything
Like hiding the dismiss toolbar button causes the old window radius to pop up 😅

I'd love to do a strong color bar like I've mocked up here, but SwiftUI & Tahoe get super cranky if you start trying to draw in the toolbar or sidebar area.
And the sidebar gets uncomfortably chonky to account for the new stoplights with extra padding
Curing cancer will be neat and all, but what I’m really excited for AI to enable is announcers in sports games actually commenting coherently on the game that’s playing out instead of repeating the same 10 phrases for every goal

@the yep! It’s a normal podcast so you should be able to find it in your podcast player. A bunch of the player direct links are here too https://launchedfm.com
RE: @revenuecat@mastodon.social
Kinda surprised how high Dark Noise scores on @revenuecat@mastodon.social 's new benchmarks
I guess the lesson here is I should focus more on top of funnel (ie get more users coming in and downloading) vs optimizing my funnel inside the app 🤔
Replying to
@willrbishop that’s the TestFlight app?
