@minego It hasn't even been very long with this tech and the koolaid is that engrained? Does this reflect an inflexibility on our part, a flexibility on theirs, or ? I luckily work in digital construction, which is typically behind and reserved on adopting the latest, so I am somewhat shielded.

@valthonis@dice.camp to be contentious years ago I started doing directly between verticle and diagononal giving me two awkward 4 sided things. Turns out I actually prefer it now. I like how it isn't symmetrical and still doth make people cringe for whatever reason when they see it. So, in short, spite.
There is gravel at work. It is a landscape choice, and it is uniform. It gets walked on every now and then, but otherwise is unused or footed. However, it retains ALL of the activity ever since nothing else touches it.
I am making this super rake so that I can do a little rock garden patterning... Hope it works out.

Life Debt: A rambling.
I consider my time as the currency of life in a way. It is precious to us, we try to only give it where it makes the most impact, and then we also squander it. We are also consumers of time as a commodity of others. I may be up a time creek without a time paddle on this, but its just a ramble. My time, and a bit of yours.
I wonder then on the notion of time as a tangible thing, that we can get into a debt of time, or life, by our own disabilities, distractions, and disregulation of our surroundings. Huh, thats three D! I get into my head about "catching up" and why it is so hard to do so. Consider the kitchen. Your time spent after a home cook meal is better spent cleaning all of it while fresh, but is exponentially harder as you've just slammed a 3 course meal on for you and fam. You let it sit until tomorrow. 3 Days later (in adhd terms that is what "tomorrow" can mean), you spend exponentially more time to catch up, and still dislike it.
To wrap it up, I just really didn't want to do the dishes.
PS: I feel that could go more places as a discussion on broader topics, I just don't have time right now. :D
PPS: I did these actually morning after, I just needed a rant. :P

@roknrol@beige.party This was on the CD Sixteen Stone- I got it in (I am pretty 86.29% sure) the pre the year 2000 BMG Music thing where you got one CD at normie price then 11 at a penny. Sweet deal for a kid on allowance! I selected a bunch of what "sounded" or looked interesting from the rock section and some alternative, all in text with a little CD cover (maybe). So I would have hand written that and sent it by physical mail and boom boom distortion dollar, I got new tunes a few weeks later!

Was a kind day on the water. Went from one end of Gig Harbor and back.
An inversion of fatigue. No, not the opposite of such, rather a set of feelings that I was able to grasp while in the depths of a heavy fatigue episode last night and this morning.
I calmly just went to the bed. I tried letting family know, and usually me and wife watch a show before I go to bed. Not last night, I was wholly spent. I am not sure what triggered this but it was like a page of transluscent paper had been placed over my current art. I could think mostly internally, but nothing came fully to surface, I finally went to sleep.
This morning a similar episode after being up for a few minutes. I had a bit of morning caffeine, then just felt heavy again. I went back to the bed for about 20 minutes and laid in, almost awake but again, that haze over my artwork. I felt like I was under water looking out at the world through a haze of light oil, like you put on a boiling pot of water for pasta maybe. I could see out, I could see me, inside, but it was just a haze and could only manage to keep hold of my observations. Stronger thoughts came up as I felt through my task list, a few problems to solve, etc. Then I FELT it, as if the page of translucent paper was lifted and turned up. I came oht of the water and I was clearer of thought. I was truly awake finally. I am. ot sure what to do about it, but observation is a good start.
I hope to be able to have mote control or planning next time. This isn't the first or last it will happen of course.

@bazkie could be part, but mainly just a strange zap, physical. Cold feet, stiff muscles. Then after it faded, blood flow normal and I feel mindfully clear again. Going to start looking at my eating and other patterns, I lack sufficient physical activity so I am eyeing that too. I used to do marathon/ultra running so can sense some of the metabolic shifting, and I am hoping it is some of that, because its treatable- just need to move more.
But can you UNSOLDER it?!
Yes! And in this case the yeti mic lives on as we put a new mini usb connector back in, new life! I wish I had my little solder vac sucker thing, but I got it out anyways with some fanangling.

@corbden It is extremely possible. After a little outing and getting into some light work, I feel 100% normaller, so the 12 ish hours of random drop out level fatigue are really weirding me out. Atmospheric pressure? Pollen changing? IDK, but I have told a few doctors that I am equally pissed when things go inexplicably well for me as bad. Not mad I feel better now, just would like it to make more sense.

Today, in adventures with detailing MEP systems, I need to figure out a cohesive way to depict on a plan how there are actually 2 concrete penetrations for these 2" vent pipes. I model in each sleeve because there are post tension cables in thes 10" thick concrete slabs, so if it means moving a vent a few inches to keep the building structurally more sound, then I can do that. I guess. :)
In this case I will put in a section view and ask the General Contractor if those will even be ok on the slab edge, there is usually metal edging and a LOT of rebar there too.
PS, the larger penetrations are toilets. Because pooping is important!
