ADHD is being able to do 5 hours of work in 1 hour, but you're only able to work 2–3 hours per day.
I cannot overemphasize how much I dislike people who make hurtful "jabs", "humorous insults" or humiliate people in front of others just to be perceived as funny and witty, when really they're just bullies.
And when confronted with it, they just go "Well, that's just how I am", "I'm just being honest", "You just can't take a joke" or are insulted by the insinuation, that they could be bullies.
If you need to belittle others in order to feel smart or good about yourself, you're pathetic.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who is listening to the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack on repeat.
My goal is to drop off of social media entirely in 2026, starting on January 1st. Wish me luck.
How much of a holiday spirit are you feeling this Christmas?
One of the best pieces of advice I've received this year: Keep your efforts and goals to yourself. Share them when you've accomplished what you've set out to do. Not everyone needs to know what you're working on. Not everyone deserves to.
You can only play / GM three TTRPGs for the rest of your life. Which ones do you pick? (Bonus points for why)
Just got a request from my mum to "ask the internet" what these strange outgrowths are that have appeared on her orchids.
Does anyone know?
Very tempted to plug out of social media altogether in order to stay sane in 2026.
If you don't have the money to spend on WotC products, but still want to provide quality content for your players, "Dragon" and "Dungeon" magazine are freely available online (around 550 issues).
The adventures, classes, spells, races etc are from older D&D editions. But if you're a halfway decent DM, you should be able to adapt the contents into 5e (or whatever other system you're using) with little effort. They should last you multiple lifetimes.
Actual footage of me watching the last quarter of episode 7 of stranger things vol 5.
I think Christmas is a wonderful time to remember how blessed we are. Not in any religious sense. Just the fact that we can feel safe and welcome in a cosy place under a solid roof, that we get to spend time with the people that we love. That we're allowed to be part of their lives, that we get to eat delicious food, sleep in a warm bed, and have the possibility to work towards a future that we envision.
We're gifted with the tools to make the world a better place. We just have to use them.
Out of curiosity: What social media platforms and properties do you find most addictive? Secondarily, what makes you stay on those platforms, even though you are aware of those addictive / toxic qualities?
Currently watching "The Great Flood (2025)". The overall vibe feels very similar to "1899 (2022)".
Out of curiosity: Were you affected by mass-layoffs in the past 4 years?
Got *lots* of work done, so we're treating ourselves with a film tonight.
What are we watching?
