• it's a long weekend (even though I'm not in NSW, I get their holidays which means I have a holiday when everyone else in my state has to work, and that leaves me feeling special and probably a little smug... also WA had a holiday last week and I didn't get it so I'm not that smug)

• I bought sugar snap peas and they are so good, I've eaten ten already, yummo

• Ella has been doing great on her walks, which is awesome! She's such a fast learner. Is she a genius wonderdog? Not quite sure about that but I'm managing my expectations and trying not to compare her with a certain other genius wonderdog 🥲

Lets pause a minute to ask perhaps the most consequential Q. that many of us will confront this summer.... when you're stuck in a traffic jam on the motorway, should you change lanes to the one that seems to be moving the fastest? Here's a holistic analysis (and conclusion) suggesting changing lanes doesn't work.... Its an interesting argument but doesn't completely accord with my own experience as a frequent user of the M6. #driving #motorways #holidayshttps://theconversation.com/dont-change-lanes-the-maths-of-holiday-traffic-jams-287389

They call it a #silentsunday , but it’s not exactly pleasant enough to be outside in this heat ! In 2014, I spent about ten days in #Bologna, and the city has never left my heart since. It’s an Italian blend of #culture, culinary delights, and a vibrant atmosphere full of personalities... young, old, and everything in between. A beautiful mix of people to watch. Since then, I’ve kept the city close to my heart as the perfect stopover between home and my journeys to Tuscany. And there’s always something new to discover, like a fantastic little #coffee bar just around the corner... https://pixelfed.social/p/LievenSymaeys/864179037637408285 #Italy ... It’s become something of a yearly tradition. And I decided to create an Italy collection. https://pixelfed.social/c/859471472028054438 #analog is timeless.
