No, you may not merge the vibecoded diff where, when running the test, half the functionality is swapped out for a dummy class. Also you should have at least two tests.
This is a super junior dev (first coding job) so I don't blame them but, as for the other staff level engineers who looked at this and didn't call out the problems, I have harsh... thoughts, at least. Satisfying as harsh words can be in the moment they're not actually going to make my job better or easier in the long run.
It's not even half assed, it's a half assed approach to a half assed implementation of a half assed idea.
Eighth assed, perhaps.

How is "apps with significant usage" measured there? If it's based on some user count threshold that looks like the new apps are displacing old ones, but only via each one taking a couple users.
Though they're clearly all crap. That's not new for mobile, sadly - it has been the domain of shovelware for a long time

I'm sorry, but "that contract attached to the Carta grant of equity is not actually active" is not a good excuse for it being wrong.
Also, no, I still won't sign a contract that says I've been allowed to see certain information which you won't share with me. Nor will I sign one which says I agree to terms, explicitly to include ones which might bind me, which are in a document you won't show me.

Looks like it's being appealed so there will be another opportunity! https://apnews.com/article/ftc-meta-appeal-antitrust-752463c7783ba14b00b686fe0c933f88
Also sorry, I didn't mean that as a contradiction of what you were saying about them not being mostly a social media company. I apologize if it came off that way.

Seems like a ridiculous argument, though. If I control 100% of market A and 10% of market B and market B is more important to my business, I'm still a monopoly in market A.

Financialization at its "best", eh? Just like with real estate the financialization of one thing creates scarcity of another, more necessary to life and happiness

People who enjoy this sort of thing would probably also enjoy https://connectorbook.com/ I've used it a few times to identify connectors, both old and new, weird and fairly normal.

Yeah, the big boxes are way cheaper for sure
Every once in a while I don't deal with the strainer right away and I always have to soak it to get it clean
I don't understand the popularity of teabags.
Sure they're convenient if all you have is a paper cup and a presspot of barely-hot water but surely at home you can have a mug or even a teapot with a built in strainer. Then you can use looseleaf tea which is both better, cheaper, and available in greater variety.
Twinings Irish Breakfast for instance is $85/kg. We pay $55/kg for better tea. Sure, you can buy Lipton for $22/kg but that's hardly tea.

I'll be alright, still got kilos of leaf! Just out of the jot liquid type
I just need to steep some more
Or pour some of the iced tea
All my tea gone

The Incredible Machine. Gosh I loved that one.
Path of Exile. This is more of an addiction. I've escaped it for now - gaming on Linux where the tools are worse helps. It's a dopamine hole, though.

There's a lot of methamphetamine used in schools. Adderall is mixed amphetamine salts, amphetamine/methamphetamine.

Could you say a little more about the benefits of the app over using the website via a screen reader?

There's a diphthong. A mild one, but definitely two vowels

Thanks for passing along the question and the answer! I sent it to my sibling who works in the accessibility office at Harvard. They're planning to reach out, though their time for testing is pretty constrained until the end of the semester

Yes! I've found that not only is this true for something big enough to have its own line in a design doc, but it's even true for smaller units of code. Smaller than one idea, which often means smaller than one statement.

Any idea what the publication venue might have been? Magazine, journal, blog, newspaper? Was it recently written as well?
