I'm so glad that I just make side apps on the side for fun as a hobby. As long as I make enough for my weekend pizza I'm good. I'll just hangout here on the sidelines and celebrate all the other #indiedev today.
I really wish you could add iMessage effects right after sending a message. I often forget to do or think about it right after it's delivered. If someone hasn't seen a message yet, for example, I'd like to be able to still add the hidden effect.
The new Siri is great everyone.
#swiftui never got an update to make TimelineProvider more async friendly and it's not coming with #Xcode27, so I finally got around to making my own incredibly lightweight wrapper. Feel free to checkout and use AsyncTimelineProvider.

Last night my finances iPad ended up in multi-window mode and she had no idea what happened or how to fix it. Looks like there’s still some work to do for the iPadOS team.

Quick note about how it works.
Since there will likely be more apps than feature spots, it uses a lottery system. Each cycle randomly selects an app to feature.

@mattiem The same package does work if used remotely or going through the Xcode UI and hitting "Local". However, removing the local one causes Xcode to crash. I also don't know if having it in the same directory as the project will work.

I’ve got a local package trait working via swift build --traits, but I can’t find any way to toggle it in the Xcode UI. Articles say it should be in the Package Dependencies view in Xcode 26.4, but I’m not seeing it.
Right now the only way I've found is manually editing the traits array on the XCLocalSwiftPackageReference in the pbxproj. Am I missing something in the UI, or is that the only way currently?

@dlewisdev my new app also got rejected this week. Apple says there was tax cut off on iPad, which is weird because it’s an iPhone. Only app seems a little odd to me that they would ding you on a review for that.
