Busy busy week folks. Mostly been working my ass off and blasting Neurosis while drinking copious amounts of coffee.
So here it is, my first blog post. And I've decided to start with some cooking tips. If you ever wanted to know how to make the Ultimate Spicy Campfire Stew, it's your lucky day. You can thank me later!

Happy Friday everyone! Listening to some @negativebliss@metalhead.club on the train to work this morning to get me in the mood for the weekend! 🤘
I just worked out how to verify my blog on Mastodon, so that's nice.

@f0rrest@mstdn.social @chris@mstdn.games I'm still really tempted, but to be honest my ancient Kindle does the job so I can't really justify the purchase!!

@f0rrest@mstdn.social @jake4480@c.im @HailsandAles@metalhead.club it's a banger! If you haven't heard the Melvins cover of Interstellar Overdrive you need to check it out!

@jake4480@c.im @HailsandAles@metalhead.club I will defend Atom Heart Mother to my grave, but most people hate it! Hahaha!

@HailsandAles@metalhead.club @jake4480@c.im I like some of the tracks on Division Bell, but I'm definitely more of a Roger Waters fanboy. Their period from Atom Heart Mother to Animals is my favourite. I do think the Wall is very overrated and quite a dirge to get through.
New Boards of Canada is a bit good then? Shouldn't be surprised really!
So I cracked and got myself an Xteink X4. I had to borrow my wife's laptop with Windows to install Crosspoint which was a bummer, because Ubuntu couldn't recognise the device for flashing purposes. But it's done. I've just started Naomi Klein's latest book Doppelganger, which I'm enjoying so far.
Back to work today after the Bank Holiday, so here's a new cooking blog - easy spaghetti carbonara!
@chongliss@mastodon.ie that's the beauty of open source campfire stew.

@famousblueben it's one of those 90s shows that only gets good by the 3rd season there or thereabouts.

@famousblueben Voyager has some great two parters. A lot of really really bad episodes though. They should have made Dark Frontier the Voyager feature film.
My Dangerfields 7" collection. If you lived in Belfast in the 2000s and you don't know the Dangerfields, what were you even doing with your life??
