I absolutely hate people who are collectors just because they want to have like a VHS tape let's say that it worth a lot of money. I collect VHS/DVD/BluRay simply because I want to own movies I find neat or have wanted to watch, I don't care what they are worth, they are worth the world to me because I will use them many times over years.

I've started a rewatch of Star Trek: Voyager and am still working on a TOS rewatch and thinking I should just slowly rewatch all the old series together: TNG, DS9 and Enterprise included. My dad keeps telling me about reading Trek books recently, and it constantly makes me want to dig back in to the universe, and I don't like any of the modern stuff except Lower Decks so that's not really an option.

Even at my most moderate I ever got, I remained a dedicated economic lefty in most regards, so half of the episodes of The West Wing made me roll my eyes hard at their dedication to New Democrat style liberalism. Now that I've found my rightful place as all around commie, I cannot stand MOST episodes of the show that manages to be preachy and also quite conservative at the same time. People used to call it "The Left Wing" but like, certainly not.

The new album by The Melvins and Napalm Death together is really good, not only bringing the best both very different bands have to offer, but also sometimes letting the music slip into like straight psychedelic noise rock rather than sticking to metal. Interplay between the two vocalists is great.

Honestly, the shooter being a "Vote Blue No Matter Who, RESIST" guy makes perfect sense to me. Genuine leftists care about a whole lot more than just a singular obsession with hating Trump, while the RESIST moderate liberals can be almost deranged in their focus on just one man only who they post about all day every day, taking a break from it to hate leftists too. The IHRA has started their own stock car series this year and these were the opening races at my hometrack the other week. I was disappointed I could go but my racing partner had NG drill that weekend, but glad to be able to watch it on their YouTube which I follow cause sometimes I like watching their drag racing which sometimes has names I recognize as former NHRA regulars.

Watching the first #baseball game I've managed all week with my sleep schedule and racing, Phillies and Diamondbacks. Got a Swirlies album replacing the commentary and constant ads.

As a rule, whenever my hair is short enough that I don't have to brush it, I save 3-4 dollars and only buy the $1 shampoos at the Dollar General rather than the ones in the 3-5 dollar range.

It is always weird when somebody famous you likes your post about them. I posted on Bluesky about how much I enjoyed Joe Lynch's direction of Suitable Flesh and compared it to the best work of Sam Raimi, and he gave it a like this morning cause I guess he was namesearching himself lol.

Consuming caffeine in my 30s doesn't really make me less tired, it just means that I have to urinate once an hour at least.

Planning on watching all the #FormulaE races that air on the Roku Channel this year, starting with the one which aired last month from Jeddah this afternoon. I really wish all the races aired on it because my dad's cable doesn't have CBS Sports Network and like I doubt most people even know that channel exists. They would have such a bigger audience on Roku I imagine.
