@timnolli@convo.casa @catsalad@infosec.exchange @marlies@tacobelllabs.net Ben Franklin designed a clock with only four positions. I don’t know if he ever made one, but they made a modern electric version in the 70s, here’s mine

from my hotel in San Diego Old Town, I can hear the planes taking off downtown and the trains at the crossing a few blocks away. 10/10 would recommend.
It’s on Pleos. Gleo has it for you.

@mwichary@mastodon.online re your latest Unsung post about computers in movies/tv: check out this Cathode Ray Dude video. He got his hands on a computer actually used on various film sets and shows off the real fake software. (The first 2/3 is about how to actually film a CRT without it looking terrible, which is also interesting)

@mosssupply lean over and tell them that actually in the original greek it's pronounced "key-ver-ni-tis"
New York Sirens 2025-26 Season Wrap-Up
I attended 16 Sirens games at 5 venues: Prudential; MSG; Cap One, DC; Ball Arena, Denver; Tsongas Center, Boston
I traveled 4400 miles to attend games, mostly that Denver trip
I drank 19 beers and 6 bad arena coffees (Actually the Tsongas coffee was pretty good. This is the only nice thing I will say about Boston.) I spent more on concessions at Prudential than the cost of my season ticket seat
Wee woo forever, next year Sirens will win the Cup
