i'm also finally upgrading to matrix authentication service, so (hopefully!) Element X will work with our OIDC setup. that'll be neat

matrix is back. and yeah, sometime in the medium future i’ll look into migrating everything into a fresh install, rather than continuing to bash my head against this config which is clearly creaking and falling apart under a mere two-ish years of technical debt.
