@rbanffy I suspect that "DIR" is some kind of EXEC on your CMS system. LISTFILE can be abbreviated to LIST, and I think even as far down as just L.

@brauner This may seem very funny as a joke, but it is actually very stupid. Next thing you know, there will be a legal argument "See, it is totally possible to implement this", and you're stuck with it.

@d6 I still use xv. It is perfect for having a background on my X display which scales and tiles to fill the screen, and changes every 5 minutes.

@rbanffy LISTFILE is probably a more CMSish way to list your files.
