I tried to explore a human rights respecting license a while back and failed pretty hard, I got flooded with “well that’s not open source” and “that’s not free” and therefor it’s bad. I was just trying to figure out how to not help enemies of the people with my code (via licensing as if!) and got some pretty viscous responses to my questions and suggestions.
Talking about it on this level makes sense ❤️

A while back I 3d printed some posts for the cheapo lights in my front yard.
This winter they all survived sans one that probably got hit pretty hard with a snow shovel. Unfortunately the lights used the stock spikes and all but one of those broke.
So lets do some more printing!

@mikebroberts@hachyderm.io it depends on where you go! Every place I’ve worked I’ve been able to build teams that are more than the sum of their parts. It has been hard to get non-engineering people to be part of the team but when they are, that’s good too!
