Happy to boost nice photos I see on here.
Highly recommend Arrow Classic Rock, a Dutch radio station.
You can listen on an Amazon Echo device by adding the “Dutch Radio” skill.
Also on Bluesky.

@Esoteria@social.horrorhub.club sorry, thought you were just thick.
Easy mistake to make.

@hedders@mas.to I like Grohl but Foo songs sound like they were written by a drummer.
People who post things and then ignore all the replies (not just mine!) get unfollowed.
It’s supposed to be a two-way thing…. If not what’s the point!

AC/DC - Powerage
Nirvana - Nevermind
Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue
Townes Van Zandt - Our Mother The Mountain
The Smiths - Hatful Of Hollow
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico
The Wedding Present - Seamonsters
The Beatles deserve including but can’t pick one, side 2 of Abbey Road is my favourite.
Same goes for Half Man Half Biscuit, can’t just choose one.
Also Sonic Youth but can’t choose one of Sister or Evol.
And Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds should be in there too.
The Stone Roses is a great album but have to have Seamonsters in.
Love a bit of Ska when the mood takes me.
This account definitely deserves more follows.

@MargaretSefton@writing.exchange if tomorrow is now today, Happy Birthday!
TNT Sports are so shit. Can’t they get someone with a connection to each team, no Newcastle fan wants to have to listen to both Gerrard and McManaman.
The presenter doesn’t count.

@fesshole@mastodon.social the perfumes supplied by the flight attendants presumably aren’t a big seller.
Anyone able to beat 136.9 a litre for unleaded in the UK at present?
Diesel was 163.9 though….

@fesshole@mastodon.social “Miss Piggy, no I meant Ms Harry, Debbie Harry of Blondie.”
Enjoyed the Peaky Blinders film on Netflix, a lot better than the last few series were.

@30yrdscreamer@mastodon.me.uk get a VPN and watch via Albania. They’re not allowed to show ads in Albania.
It’s nuts but it works.

@Esoteria@social.horrorhub.club no we do say May the 4th and use DD/MM/YY.
Today is Sunday the 3rd of May.
Thing with English is we invented it.

@randy_@social.linux.pizza just IV V VI. No-one really needed to know Vader’s full back story, we managed without it for a long time.
At a push there’s a five minute intro to the Anakin series that summarises the prequels, you could watch that between V and VI so as not to spoil the Vader-Luke reveal.

@beer_mat_movies@mastodonapp.uk I saw it crop up on Amazon to buy or rent yesterday, v expensive!
Looked it up on wiki and wasn’t clear it’d come out in the UK.
I’ll either wait or watch via illegitimate means, a streaming rental that costs double what I pay for a cinema ticket just doesn’t appeal.

@beer_mat_movies@mastodonapp.uk watched it. Superb, nuts though! Even dafter than the original.

@alicemcalicepants@ohai.social @anon_opin@mastodon.social elbow on bar, lean over, follow the bar person’s every move and don’t get your money out, that’s the correct way to get served at a bar.
Get your money out and they think you’re already served by someone else and ready to pay.
And if someone gets served before their turn don’t be shy to say “I was next”.

Hell hath no fury like a totally-not-gay-for-his-mate bloke scorned.

@btdorn@infosec.exchange well aware of that tv accessory, but the Game Gear itself wouldn’t let you watch films or listen to music.
Let’s not split hairs here.

Shouldn’t have done it though, not at that point in the match.

Seen some clips of his speech but I don’t watch the news.
I did enjoy the “if it wasn’t for us you’d all be speaking French” exchange haha.
That Jim Carrey stuff just shows how many idiots there are in the world and how quickly social media can spread a lie.
You can’t clone people, if you could they wouldn’t just appear as a fully-formed adult.
Too much sci-fi, not enough science education.
Poor bloke will probably disappear for another six years now and they’ll say that’s further evidence!

@Yog_Krakthulhu@mastodon.social I didn’t like the characterisation personally but he’s a brilliant actor.
The only episodes I rewatch are the ones with the cybermen and Master and Missy towards the end.

@beer_mat_movies@mastodonapp.uk did you review SISU 2 last year? Or SI2U as I believe they marketed it.
Enjoyed the first one, didn’t realise the sequel came out, maybe it never got a UK release 🤷♂️

@hedders@mas.to @BonehouseWasps@mastodon.social dunno, give me Acquiesce over anything that I’ve heard by Foos.
At least Oasis have some interesting bits of guitar, Foos is all rhythm and no melody.
Guess the film from the emojis

@missmelanieh@mastodonapp.uk it’s the only thing I watch on it. If we weren’t playing in Europe I wouldn’t pay the ridiculous monthly fee for this.
It costs me more than my Sky Sports sub and that’s miles better.

@georgetakei@universeodon.com to be fair you can listen to music and watch films on a PSP so she isn’t entirely wrong.
You couldn’t do that on any Nintendo or Sega handheld up to that point.
