One more #german state of Mecklenburg Vorpommern is moving to #nextcloud @nextcloud@mastodon.xyz avoiding dependence of Microsoft sharepoint and other cloud services. They have been taking a cautious approach towards the final migration to #linux @heiseonline@social.heise.de https://www.heise.de/news/Mecklenburg-Vorpommern-verabschiedet-sich-von-Microsoft-11352440.html

@aworkinglibrary@mstdn.social Its very important for the brain to not be constantly bombarded by messages/pics/videos which would need more and more brain power, people overestimate what their brain can process and finally go into burnout.

Simple suggestion would be social media / trash apps can all stay on one 2nd hand phone. Main phone can be strictly for official communication. It really helps a lot.

@petewalkden@mastodon.scot Amazing capture, congrats. 👌 I was wondering before reading the description on how your background was blurred so much. Thought it was too wide of an apperture 😉

@WhidbeyWXGuy@mastodon.social One question I have about #weather always is the polar #jetstream and why does it keep changing. How is climate change affecting it?

@ExtinctionR@social.rebellion.global Thanks for the share @Theorem_Poem@mstdn.social , Yes the heatwave this time has not only taken lives but also will affect working days/time for unorganised labour who depend on daily wages for survival. They have to first survive the heat, find shelter and keep themselves cool and also existential food crisis. 😢
