Google just limited my 12+ year old channel with 700+ subs because it allegedly lacks "channel history", which only means they are intentionally flagging my account and forcing a prompt to make me give up all of my privacy.

They suggest verifying my legal ID.

This is how it starts.

#privacy #Google #infosec #enshittification #forcedcompliance #YouTube #ageverification

Hope you're well today. TL;DR is I'm trying to raise $30. You can support me on Bandcamp, Ko-Fi, or Cashapp. 🙏😭 BandCamp: https://ottercynical.bandcamp.com/ Cashapp: $mrecon54 Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/ottercynical I'm a painfully neurodivergent and chronically underemployed pan nb, a father to twins, and trying to get on my feet. Today I'm trying to gather up about $30. I'm on hard times and haven't been able to secure a job in many months, and have gotten by on the charity of family and the kindness of others, but have little for myself. I post here because I appreciate the Mastodon community. I'll forever remember and be thankful if you are willing to lend me your support. I also take gameplay requests (at no cost). Every penny goes directly toward surviving. My handles are below. Pic is my dog, Biscuit. Thank you for hearing me out. Just hyperfocused on a track all day, then ate 4 cold hotdogs and went to bed.

The tortured life of an artist.
