This is not protection. This is surveillance. This is erasure.
We are not a diagnosis. We are not a government category. We exist. We resist.

The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026 — Bill No. 79 — has been introduced in Lok Sabha. If passed, it will strip away the right to self-identify, force mandatory medical board examinations to "prove" your gender, narrow the definition of who counts as transgender, and require hospitals to report your surgeries to the government.
India passed the anti trans bill yesterday. Stripping away the rights of trans and non binary people.

Fosstodon is very slow and unresponsive for me on my network….. hmmmmmm
I lost my college mate and a wonderful human being in 2021. I feel like I am in line now. With all the anti trans legislation, bigotry and terrible state of affairs it feels not worth it to stay alive.
This anime is so relaxing. I love cats and raccoons.
