Also not new from AI, they been doing it roughly about a decade. Bots aren't new. Making them at scale though, that now is so easy a caveman can do it instead of tech people aware that size can make you noticeable. Pretty sure the internet is mostly dead now. I wouldn't pay for any advertising unless your targets are bots

@hatr@infosec.exchange that's not a justifiable reason to bomb an elementary school. And the US at least had the capabilities to target only valid military targets and insure missiles didn't hit civilian targets. Not sure if that survived the ethnic and gender cleansing of the past year.

Now someone can make an accessible CLI reader. AND someone can make an accessible CLI. You're trying to blame one group for a problem than sits on both sides of the house.

@mullvadnet is it CCTV? Or a webcam. One of them isn't publicly accessible with script kiddy tools and is only looked at if there is a problem or a crime. The other is an invasion of public privacy. (We have a right to exist in the public without being surveiled and logged by an algorithm 24/7.) CCTVs that are a closed system with no internet access around a public business are not a problem. A closed system around a city or county is.

@osnews sounds like malware to me, beaconing back to a C2 server. Now the flip side, what happens if I insert that line into my host file or maybe an employers computer host file? Do they try to use it to say hey you aren't paying for creative cloud? Or can I then access features I shouldn't?
