@TheHag@bog.fan I mean, it’s a perfectly boopable snoot, if a tad pointy, but a stripy puffin snoot it is not…

@gmh@mastodon.social this was the final straw for me, after they also prohibited encrypted iCloud storage (Advanced Data Protection).
I figured it would be worse than advertised because this isn't my first rodeo and I'm cynical AF these days so have turned automatic updates off for the first time ever in the hope I can stay on 26.3 long enough to sort an alternative out.
I've order a refurbished Pixel 8 and will be spending the weekend setting up GrapheneOS...

@mycrowgirl if it helps with the splash down theme, said email was sent from my BlackBerry which I then threw in the sea from the boat I was on at the time… 😂
Replying to
@mycrowgirl That’s how I signed off my resignation email to my about to be ex-staff… none of them got the reference which just confirmed I was doing the right thing 🤦🏻♂️😂

@Jaimieserotica as my ex-wife used to say, need and want are two different words… and you clearly NEEED them so that’s ok!

@Jaimieserotica excuse me… can you please leave just a smidge of talent for the rest of us…

Here’s hoping King Charles can pull off a ‘JD Vance’ when he visits Trump next week. One dead Cheeto and a use for the monarchy is probably too much to expect though… 🤷🏻

@mycrowgirl yeah, part of me feels a bit bad about the littering, but it just felt soooooo good!! 🥳
Apparently all hell let loose in the office when no-one could get a response to the email… (I was 3 days into a fortnights vacation) - sadly I had to work 6 months notice so they gave me another BlackBerry 😔
@JenJen@mastodon.art Good luck at BBB today - may you sell many things… and buy less than you sell 😁
If anyone is in or near Birmingham today and fancies some smut, go checkout the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar:

@mycrowgirl@flipping.rocks I’ve been MIA for the last couple of months due to work and it’ll be another month before normal service is resumed with my pocket friends… but it’s threads like this that make me realise how much I miss this weird little place in my phone 😂

If your taste buds are up for a challenge, I have a great recipe for Chickpea and Peach curry - sounds like it shouldn't work, but it really does and is dirt cheap.

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange well I’ve learnt something today! Having lived & worked in the US years ago I was accustomed to the strange looks when using a fork in the left hand but never knew the history behind it all… I spent long enough there that I’m now ambiforkstrous

@briankrebs@infosec.exchange or the UK version - stay on old iOS or update and have to hand over your Govt ID to be allowed to use your phone like an adult....
