Today I learnt (realised) that #Python's `json.loads()` and `json.dumps()` functions aren't plural versions of `json.load()` and `json.dump()`. The `s` stands for `string` (since they read/write from strings instead of files).

mastodon 4.7.3I recently learnt (by pure accident) that #Flameshot's "autoincrementing counter bubbles" can be dragged to draw an arrow under them!
What is the difference between #Godot's #scons options for reducing an export template's size, and generating/using a build profile?
For example, does having `"disable_3d": true` in a build profile negate the need for `disable_3d=yes` as an scons option?

#SilentShare is now available in the #FDroid app store!
https://f-droid.org/packages/com.github.normplum.silentshare
The app let's you share personal information with other people visually and silently. For example, needing to give your DOB to the receptionist in a doctor's office. Show it to them via the app rather then saying it out loud for all to hear.
Silent Share v1.0.2 was just released:
https://github.com/NormPlum/SilentShare/releases/tag/1.0.2
It's an #Android #app that let's you share personal information with other people visually, so bystanders don't overhear (e.g. providing your phone number to lookup your account when making a purchase).
In #ZenBrowser I have a folder of pinned tabs for a project I was working on. Since I haven't gotten back to it for a while, I'd like to move them to a bookmark folder instead.
Is there an easy way to convert a folder of tabs to a folder of bookmarks?
I use #ZenBrowser where I have vertical tabs (on the left), and I use the #Bitwarden addon which is set to display in the sidebar on the right (so it stays open when I'm logging into sites, etc.).
I recently tried #Waterfox as I've heard good things about it, but it seems my setup in Zen isn't possible here... Vertical tabs display in the sidebar, so I can't separate tabs and Bitwarden to the left and right of the screen respectively.
Am I missing something, or does Waterfox not support this?
Playing with output on multiple screens for a possible #Godot app, and realised that while a device might have multiple monitors attached, if they're set to be a 'mirror' of the main monitor, then you effectively only have 1 screen. But Godot doesn't realise this... So I found a way to check it:
I just completed the 200th 'Daily Coding Challenge' by #freeCodeCamp.

(don't look at the code if you want to solve it yourself first)
I have pinned tabs in @zenbrowser@floss.social and sometimes I accidentally press the favicon which resets the tab back to it's pinned URL.
Is there a way to disable this behaviour?
If I have a static HTML page that displays hundreds of items (where each item is some text, an image and a link), is there any benefit to add JS client-side pagination?
As I understand it, all content will be loaded regardless, the JS will just show/hide certain items as you click on the page links...
Or is it ok to just leave the hundreds of items as-is? Or is there a better solution?
Sorting by multiple keys in #Hugo is not intuitive - you have to list the keys in reverse order.
For example, `.Pages.ByDate.ByParam "channels"` will sort by the custom "channels" integer, *then* by date.

The race for top spot is tight!

#Waterfox (and presumably other #Firefox-based browsers) can save your open tabs so when you close and re-open the browser, all your tabs are still there. However when you click on a tab, it takes a second or two to load.
Is there a way to specify certain saved tabs to load automatically when opening the browser?
In #Hugo is it possible to define a custom date format that is automatically used for all dates across the site?
I found suggestions to set a custom date format in your site's config, then call that everywhere you have a date being displayed, but I don't want to specify the format each time - I just want to set it once and have all dates use that by default...
