@briankrebs@infosec.exchange I have been of the opinion that if you sell an ad you should be liable at least for obvious things illegal and wrong in it (links to spam, malware damages caused etc.). Making FB liable for this would stop this very quickly and cause very little collateral damage. They can always go and hold the advertiser liabale. That should motivate them to check the legality and identity of their business partners.

Ich glaub man muss noch mal ein paar Zahlen aus dem Artikel ziehen um die Dimension des Ganzen klar zu machen: Nigeria hat im März mehr als 500% mehr Solarleistung importiert als im Februar und damit ein GW überschritten im Monat. Und Februar war schon ein Rekordmonat.
China hat im März mehr Solarleistung exportiert als Spanien installiert hat und Spanien ist wirklich kein Land mit wenig installierter Solarleistung.

Da hört man das interview der @lagedernation@chaos.social mit Mario Voigt und möchte dem Interviewten bei jeder Antwort kräftig schütteln. Insb. die Antworten zu „kriminellen Ausländern“ und um GEG waren so dermaßen unredlich, dass es mir schwer fällt den Mann ernst zu nehmen. Auch die Argumente um „Genderverbot“ waren wirklich an den Haaren herbeigezogen das war schon fast Comedy. Wow!
Trotzdem gut für den realitätsabgleich so ein Interview.

@masek@infosec.exchange So much yes! I see this with companies forming engineering organizations. They go and emulate Google or Meta. Because they think the structure is what brought them success. They don’t realize that these companies have a scale and margins that allow them to employ certain structures that don’t fit other places. But the people emulating this then feel they are like „FANG“ companies and it’s good for linked in.

@isotopp@infosec.exchange It's even more restricted: The Mac Studio with the maximum RAM you can buy at the moment is M3 Ultra with 96GB. That will set you back around 7000€ (net). I know this because getting the biggest RAM Mac purchasable was exactly what we just did. If there still was a 256GB option we would have gone with that. (AppleCare for this machine is a steal at 170€)

@koehntopp @fluepke @signalapp Aus Erfahrung kann ich sagen: MDM ist bei MdBs nicht. Wegen der verfassungsmäßig garantierten Unabhängigkeit der Abgeordneten (Bei z.B. Fraktionsmitarbeitern sieht das anders aus).
