Back in the AIM days I had my own chatbot built off of Smarterchild and I loved that work. It was my introduction to programming.
In 2015/2016 there was that really brief time where people got really into chatbots again, and I had fun with that.
I’ve always been interested in AI and robots, since I was a kid. But more so, as an adult when seeing the first Ironman movie…I didn’t gaf about anything but Jarvis haha. I wanted that.

I want to clarify, generative AI is (mostly) not what I mean.
I am very excited by the idea of generative AI in the context of procedurally generated video games. I think there is a lot of really cool stuff we could do with that. But because of the negative aspects of AI, the gaming community at large is against that.
Mostly what I was excited about is automation and chatbot type stuff. Ironman’s Jarvis. I used to run my own “Smarterchild” bot on AIM back in the day.

I mean ideally it does all of the above and I just turn off the parts I like doing while I zone out for a few minutes listening to the sounds of the water.

I'm sort of starting to chicken out though, because I'm concerned all of the stuff in Room B won't fit in Room A, and if that's the case, then wife won't be happy with the arrangement.

Everything comes out of Room A into the living room, room gets painted, everything gets moved over from Room B once it's dry. Everything in living room gets moved into Room B and set back up.

I don't think the banks here would loan that amount of money on a visa. If the person bought the house in cash, well, that's enough money here to just buy yourself a residency. Best of luck to them. Someone that put together probably won't have too much of a problem getting a job in time.
