Continuing to work my way through all my MegaBloks Pokémon kits, we come to a different Pika-clone, Dedenne.
Another adorable electric rodent, this time a dual fairy type. This figure was a little more annoying with the rubbery antennae / whiskers to get them set up, but that was the hardest part. The tail is a long rubbery thing. For display purposes, I have to keep it in Dedenne's hand or it is all over the place.
The last picture also includes MDMRN Twin 1's (12 YO) hand. For her birthday, I got her an Eevee kit and she wanted to show it off too if I was showing off Dedenne.
Anyway, very cute kit! I have I think about 3 more of them left before I'm out of 'em to build.
I hope I run into more of them randomly in the wild cause they're fun and I'm building quite the team of 'Mons at my work desk.

Some quick hits from my birthday yesterday in Animal Crossing.
And, of course, Kiki can't help but call me baldy. Even on my birthday.
Cold blooded.

Since the original Animal Crossing dropped in 2001, 25 years ago today, and it introduced us to the incomparable K.K. Slider who has, through the years, consistently "demonstrated musical excellence, impact, and influence..."
That means K.K. Slider is eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Let's get him inducted!

My villager must gossip so much. They're so chatty.
Well, now Coco is asking me about K-Pop too. She is interested in learning more about it as well. Which was very polite of her.
What K-Pop songs would you introduce Coco to?

Hey everyone! This is @mdmrn@urusai.social with a second account on Mstdn.Games. As someone who posts a LOT about Animal Crossing, thought a second home here made sense.
So, allow me to introduce myself to folks from here.

It looks like "My 9 Games" is going around - pick 9 games that heavily influenced you as an individual.
So, here are mine in no particular order.
The Oregon Trail - This and Gorillas were some of the first video games I ever played. They showed me what video games were and have stuck with me to this day.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - A Sonic game needed to show up on this list. In 1992, I bought a Sega Genesis and this game was the game for a long, long while. So many memories.
Pokémon Gold - I played Blue via an emulator years prior, but Gold is what got me really into the franchise. Not when it first came out, as an adult. Many years later. When I replaced the battery in my siblings' old copy of Gold and played it while traveling for work. This got me really into the Pokémon franchise.
Super Mario Bros - My first console game. I have beaten this so many times. It never gets old, to me.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons - No game has become my personality more than this. To this day, this is by far the game I have logged the most hours into. I have largely played it daily since 2020.
🧵 1/2
I just beat you in a Pokémon battle.
This isn't life or death.
What a drama queen.

Made a few more of the MegaBloks' Pokémon kits over my long weekend. Two of my kids helped me out a little bit...only a little bit.
Cubone and Squirtle two pack. They both look cute.
Had to put them next to their tiny plastic figurines I happened to have.
Yes, I do like these kits. It's too bad they're disappearing.

Shino, apparently, was gaming ALL night the other day.
She finally got the high score in her favorite game making her the best player on the island.
What game do you think Shino was obsessed with?

@ishambard@cupoftea.social Well done, so far. I love Super Mario Deluxe. I still have my original GBC cartridge of it, too. It's one of my favorite ways to play SMB.
The Challenge modes are fun. I've never gotten as far along as you have, though! My goodness. Well done! Always impressive.
Pokémon battles are exercise? Who knew.
Sounds more fun than literally going to a gym...

@ishambard @scribblemacher "Bad" is a relative term when it comes to art. This includes video games.
One person's fav is another person's least favorite thing in the world. And both opinions are valid.
I had Balloon Pop for the Wii. A pretty shovelware looking game, per most. But, I loved it. It was a fun puzzle game.

@SuperSelena64@vmst.io That is so cool that there are folks still supporting and making e-Reader games!

@elisse I can imagine! Do you have Saharah on Harv's Island? At least that gives you a chance to know what you are getting.

@elisse Congrats!! That's awesome. I am...not done :acnh_bashfulness:
Need to actually inventory my wallpaper to see what I am missing too. :cat_think:
