And for a thesis project, I wrote a novella. And have not read much Stephen King, but maybe I'll look into something that is less horor and see what comes out of it.

@Fragglemuppet@fandom.ink One that we've been recommended is Save The Cat Writes a Novel by Jessica Brody, which is a very approachable read though we did not finish it. Story Structure by Dan Harmen explores writing tv shows but it can be applied to novel writing,, which is an essay but a very good one. We keep these things in our head while creating but do not follow them by the letter. Ordinary Genius by Kim Addonizio is a good workbook for poets. -- Altheda/Lillianna
