Longhorn PHP
We're an annual PHP conference in Austin, TX. Our next event will be held October 15-16, 2026 - tickets on sale now!
It's official: this year's conference dates are Thursday, October 15 for Tutorial Day and Friday, October 16 for keynotes, talks, open spaces, and more! Two days rather than three, still multi-track, still here for the community. Grab a ticket at https://longhornphp.com, or submit to speak at https://cfp.longhornphp.com.
Our next keynote speaker is Cori Lint. Cori Lint is a software engineer with experience as a full-stack engineer, backend engineer, and web developer. Previously, Cori spent a decade in the classical music industry as a professional cellist and orchestra manager.
Cori is keynoting with "Work Smarter: Code Like a Musician" - What if we approached software development the way classical musicians approach learning a piece of music?

Testing your database can lead to slow, complex tests that are hard to write.
Hard to write tests, usually don't get written. There can be a better way of
testing this type of code. Using a PHPUnit Extension and framework-agnostic
database tools, we can improve tests that interact with the database.
