Over 100 data centers have been proposed on or next to Tribal lands.
Data centers use up, evaporate, and poison hundreds of billions of gallons of drinking water -- and they’re often in drought-prone regions where Tribes already face water scarcity.
Big Tech companies are endangering native communities by targeting Tribal lands and building racist biases into AI programs. Zam DeShields (Chickasaw Nation), calls this “an extension of colonialism.”

The situation with the reflecting pool is such a symbol of the utter lack of understanding of ecological systems by the Trump administration.
The reflecting pool is a public transparent example: they are making these kinds of decisions EVERYWHERE. Decisions that are equally horrifying, just not as visible or well known.

Trump denies disaster aid to four blue states after approving aid to six red states. Even as the White House tells the public that “there is no politicization to the president’s decisions on disaster relief,” Trump has literally connected campaign endorsements to his approvals for aid requests, a move that has no precedent in American history.
Our disaster relief should no be politcially based. We are all Americans, regardless of political orientation.

The government prosecuted nine of the ICE protesters at the July 4, 2025 Prairieland Detention Center. U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor sentenced eight of the Prairieland protesters to between 30 and 100 years in prison.
In contrast, Proud Boys Enrique Tarrio and Oath Keepers Stewart Rhodes were sentenced to 18 and 22 years of prison for their roles in the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Trump pardoned and commuted those sentences, releasing both from prison.
