Earlier this year I wondered if the guy I worked with at a pizza place in the late 80s who was on the Joint Chiefs of Staff as a USAF Major General, an assistant deputy chief of staff would end up making it to the inner circle. He went from 1 to 2 stars in 2020 and surely he was due. He retired in May. Last year his Latina wife was nominated for 1 star promotion- but I cannot find any record of it happening. So... I wonder if they got sick of Hagueseth and bounced. Or, one or both were bounced.

I mean, it's not the one everyone gloms on to- DSOTM, or the sublime Wish You Were Here or even The Wall- it's the darkest, most thought provoking album that goes best in the times we are living in.
I make some pretty good authentic tacos (birria, asada, carnitas), but sometimes you gotta make the low brow ground beef hard shell kind with shredded lettuce diced toms and basic seasonings. Did that last night, basically Taco Bell style, and they were fucking great. Just made the leftovers for breakfast. Would make/eat again.

The little brother of the 200a, like Richard Davies used in Supertramp. We had those at West Valley College in Saratoga California in the early 80. Schools started dumping them for a song in the 90s, now they go for many thousands on Reverb.

@briankrebs@infosec.exchange when I was in high school 1980, I was in the jazz band as a guitar player. I had basic understanding of how to play piano, self taught from a rental we had at home. One day before a performance I sat at the school Rhodes 88 and discovered playing an Em was.. “hey, this is the opening chord to Riders on the Storm!” and started the descending tinkling parts and was real proud of myself. (I did take formal lessons later on too.) I still love playing this.
