"Stomp" :)
If I ever get a yacht I'm going to name it the “Mr. Cunt”. The interactions with local harbours alone would make it worthwhile.

The cause of most of the UK/USA problems: “I'd rather hurt 9 needy people than help 1 cheat and I'm willing to spend more than helping all 10 to do it”.

@transactualuk@mastodon.social why? Those other platforms actively censor LGBTQ content.

@scalzi ditto 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'. It isn't called 'Indiana Jones and... whatever' 👍

Whoops. But then, reality has a well-known liberal bias.

Archaeologists Keep Finding Women Where Men Were Supposed To Be
https://thenoosphere.substack.com/p/archaeologists-keep-finding-women
For thousands of years, men have systematically written women out of history.
Environmental collapse is the inevitable result of the rise of male supremacy because women have always been the guardians and protectors of nature.
Testosterone is far more dangerous than CO2
We must address core causes and the number one core cause is toxic white men.

We're all here trying to make the best of this place, so let's make it somewhere worth living in ✊
Down with Reform! Down with Farage! Down with the Tories and New Labour! Down with antisemitism! Down with islamophobia! Down with transphobia! This is *our* country!
RE: @Aaidanbird@disabled.social
JKR has confirmed she will spend some portion of her royalties to continue her work to persecute trans people. Boycott her ✊
I recently left my 2nd job at a digital agency (multiple jobs pay the bills) and I need a new role: 20 years in IT, prior roles as a lead developer, skills in .Net/Node/React/NextJS/GraphQL. Anyone out there hiring right now? I need flexibility, so asking ~£40k a year/€45k equiv. 3 days a week (4 at a push), fully remote so I can do acting auditions and gigs when they come in. Anyone interested? DM please.
Boosts REALLY appreciated, we only have so much mortgage runway :(
Yep. The UK and USA have been screwing around in other countries for centuries and laying the foundations of a great many problems.
Fuckign shattered after first day recording my chapters of Jonathan Sim's new audiobook, “The Burn Line”, but looking cute and cheeky anyway.
this article is INTENTIONALLY written to be opaque, right? The report is that the whole "omfg Kathleen Stock was unfairly silenced!" was not upheld and the spurious fine for 'breaching free speech' has been cancelled… thats the story, isnt it? Fucking Graun, intentionally making it completely oblique and hard to decipher. Keeping the public informed and educated, everyone!

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt fitting that homeopaths take a drop of knowledge and then dilute it to the point it's nothing 🤭

@robcornelius I have applied for several tech roles and heard nothing, not even a confirmation I sent an application. I reckon they were ghost roles: recruiters and companies just keeping an eye open for what the market's like and who's out there.
I've been dreaming about my death every night for the last few nights and I'd like it to stop now 🥺
GLOBALISE THE ENCHILADA
"AI will do all our chores, power home humanoid robots, and cure all disease" is no different to "by 1990 we'll have flying cars, wear silver, and live on the moon". The latter just had whimsy and a vision beyond profits. 🚀
In the interests of accurate advertising, I think the term "smartphone" needs replacing. I recommend "spy and FOMO chute". Any better ideas?

2/2 as a side note, the reporting of anti-trans activity in the UK has really taken a backseat recently. It's still there, just people care less. It feels like even once-allies (eg John Oliver) now want to concede 'it's complicated', and the Normals are way more focussed on other problems - of which in fairness there are plenty, but it is possible to be concerned about more than one thing 🤷♀️
🎶 If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt see this is something the UK kinda *used* to do, but gave up on completely: making things look beautiful. Things can be both functional and æsthetically pleasing! Really really nice 👍
