one improvement can still be made and it's right here folks.

sweating the small stuff, but mostly just sweating
got my first iOS app store release- it's an analog film companion. Yeah, there's a bunch of these, but I'd like to think I put a bit more design intentionality into this one than the other stuff currently available. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/film-pal-track-and-meter/id6760520627
man it is wild to see how far Halide has fallen. Table stakes features missing from the big 3 release while continuing to charge considerably more than the competition. I'd really love to know the story- the legal drama doesn't feel like it covers the code suddenly falling apart
I think Imgur may be the staunchest bastion of millennial cringe that’s left on the internet at this point.
RE: @samhenrigold@hachyderm.io
The first Mac I bought was a B&W G3 tower in 2007. That's all I had money for. I loved that machine- still have it in my attic. The ability to boost the ram and storage was nice, but I felt the limitations of that GPU and CPU every day. I was always a few models behind and that taught me what tweaks to make and what to prioritize. I wouldn't trade those experiences for a brand new machine in 2007. It taught me to appreciate the system and learn, just like Sam. A beautiful piece of writing.
