@DosFox@tech.lgbt I've seen the short form videos of this being done and I still can't believe it.

@waffles@masto.yttrx.com There was some drama that led to the fork but I'm not certain of the details. Monetization enshittification at the core of it I think.

@mjibrower@social.vivaldi.net I'm pretty sure there are no pizza chains making edible pizza anymore. Shareholder value!

@stephenrobles@mastodon.social Holy shit, finally a smart lock that meets all my criteria, including the criteria of NO WiFi and NO mechanical cylinder. I'll wait for your review and a sale though 😂

@bedast@beige.party I'm sorry. CVS makes me rage. Everything about American healthcare, really.

I overstated my success with the dryer. It only heats in test mode, which is an improvement from before, but worthless in terms of normal use. Seems it is probably a bad control board, and there are none in the used or new market to be found. I'm exhausted.

@oh_that_courtney@hachyderm.io I spent some time a few days ago making sure my own VPN worked over IPv6 (providing both v4 and v6 to the client.)
Apparently that might have been useful work!

@Gurggles@mastodon.scot There used to be a place in town that did "re-weaving" on garments and it was definitely witchcraft.

@nelson@tech.lgbt it's potted in about 8mm of epoxy, so I don't consider it self-serviceable. The caps haven't vented, but it did cross my mind. I've had so many cap failures in electronics recently.
